Dinner for Schmucks
Aug 30
From Jay Roach, director of ‘Meet the Parents’ and ‘Meet the Fockers’ comes DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS – an unforgettable feast about two unlikely friends, Tim (Paul Rudd) and Barry (Steve Carell), and one very memorable dinner.
“Dinner for Schmucks” tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd), a mid-level financial executive on the verge of having it all. The only thing standing between him and total career success is finding the perfect guest to bring to his boss’ annual Dinner for Extraordinary People, an event where the winner of the evening brings the most eccentric character as his guest. Yes, sounds like fun…? Enter Barry (Steve Carell), a guy with a passion for dressing mice up in tiny outfits to recreate great works of art – hilarious.
Watch extraordinary art unfold in this sexy scene with artist Kieran Vollard – yes from Flight of the Concords. Dinner for Schmucks starts at cinemas 3 Sept.
With almost a 7 star rating on IMDB (pretty good for a comedy) and being a fan of Mr Carrell, this is definitely something I would consider watching. As part of promoting the film, the website Funny or Die featured videos of Jemaine Clement in character as Kieran Vollard.
